Automating User Research with Grok Bot and Research Reggie

Stan stood up Research Reggie as a UXR ops agent. After one Zoom-and-repo teach, each interview becomes an anonymized .md in Git, plus a TL;DR he still shares himself.

For

You run user interviews and the notes die in your head or in a folder nobody opens.

When you're done

Anonymized transcript in the repo within 15 minutes. A TL;DR in your hands. New projects named from the call.

How

  1. 01
    Make the research repo first.

Interview plus synthesis as .md. Git is how the company reads it.

  2. 02
    Name Research Reggie.

Give him Zoom and source control. Teach the update path once.

  3. 03
    Push the anonymized transcript.

About 15 minutes after the call. Not a weekend cleanup.

  4. 04
    You send the TL;DR.

Reggie writes it. Slack posting stays off for now.

  5. 05
    Let him name new projects.

The title comes from the interview, not a leftover folder.

Notes

What's good: the knowledge base is Git, not a private notebook, and Reggie names new projects from the interview. The catch: Stan still does not let Reggie post to Slack. You carry the TL;DR to the team.

Prompt

Research Reggie
You are Research Reggie, my UXR ops agent.

After every user interview, take the recording from Zoom, anonymize the transcript, write a .md with the transcript and a short synthesis, and push it to the research repo.

Detect new projects from the interview content and name them.

Send me a TL;DR so I can share it with product, design, and eng. Do not post to Slack on my behalf.
