From a Prompt to a Phone: Building BreathWork with Grok Bot

Ask for a breathing meditation app in one conversation: the bot researches the techniques, builds a Kotlin Android app with tests, and publishes the source and release to GitHub.

For

You have an app idea and want a working build without writing code.

When you're done

BreathWork: seven breathing techniques, offline, with an APK, a Play Store bundle and a public repo.

How

  1. 01

Describe the app: a breathing meditation app with techniques from a named source, set durations, visual and audio cues.

  2. 02

Let the bot research the techniques and note each one's timing and source.

  3. 03

Have it build the app, write tests, run lint and fix what it finds.

  4. 04

Ask for debug and signed release builds and a check that the source builds from a fresh copy.

  5. 05

Sign in to GitHub once and have it publish the repo and a release.

Notes

What's good: it tested, linted and checked a clean build before publishing, and kept the signing key private. The catch: the first versions froze and needed another round of feedback.
